Strand Motor Company is an independent and professionally run garage offering a wide range of motor vehicle services based at 156 - 158 Handcroft Road, Croydon CR0 3LE. As leading and experienced car mechanics in South London, we offer a personal and friendly service to all our customers.

We have many years experience working within the industry. Our technicians are trained on the latest technologies and have the most up-to-date diagnostic equipment to identify any faults in your car as quickly and as accurately as possible.

What We Offer You

We offer a range of services including MOTs, servicing, repairs, clutches, tyres, exhausts, engine diagnostics, air-conditioning and body repairs - in fact, anything you may need to keep your car on the road. This even includes a free wash and vac with every service or repair above £100.

Our service schedules are very comprehensive. All servicing and repairs are carried out to the industry set standard. To help us achieve this high level of service we are subscribed to The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) & The Good Garage Scheme; this commits garages to an open, transparent and fair method of business, aiming to maintain consistently high standards across the industry. We will always ring you to authorise any additional work required that was not agreed at the time of booking.

We continuously search extensively from different suppliers for parts to ensure that we can constantly offer competitive prices, offering value for money.

We offer a free local collection & delivery service, subject to conditions, for you or your vehicle, which could be your home or place of work, just to make life that little bit easier.

Whenever possible, and subject to terms and conditions, we offer courtesy cars at our discretion.

We offer flexible opening hours; currently they are 8.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am - 2pm on Saturday. If these are not suitable, tell us, and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

At Strand Motor Company customer care and customer satisfaction are most important to us. We value our customers and aim to offer an excellent service so any feedback or suggestions on how we can improve or enhance our services are always welcome.

We are up to 50% cheaper than most main dealers yet can offer all the skills and services found in a franchised garage but without the restrictions and inflated prices!
